The economic empowerment initiative is targeted at two major groups – caregivers and the youth. The caregivers are empowered through skills training, income generation activity training, start-up support funding and market access. This aims at empowering caregivers to be economically self-sufficient to cater for their children and families. Youth economic empowerment on the other hand focuses on start-up training and provision of equipment, work readiness sessions and training support for technical and vocational participants. This is to prepare them for their respective entrepreneurship ventures
